EF Oxford International Language Campus is seeking an empathetic, organised and proactive Residence Coordinator for summer 2026.
Position details:
- Full-time, 6 days a week
- Fixed-term contract between June 22 and August 21, 2026
- Potential for provided accommodation
Responsibilities:
- Ensures the smooth running of the student residences
- Ensures the residences provide a comfortable and safe living environment
- Provides the highest level of customer service at all times
- Helps maintain a collaborative team where departments liaise effectively
- Allocates new bookings to residential accommodation on internal allocation system
- Sends correct residence information to sales offices in a timely manner
- Assists customers with residence queries, ensuring prompt follow up and excellent customer service
- Liaises with external suppliers for cleaning/maintenance issues
- Completes weekly occupancy statistics
- Ensures allocation information is accurate and sent on time
- Prepares arrival and departure documents and provides keys for all arrivals
- Follows up disciplinary issues with the Residence Manager and applies sanctions per EF residence rules
- Liaises with the welfare team regarding issues reported for residential students
- Assists with training and supervision of Residence Advisors
- Participates in student intakes and first-week chats
- Arranges residence feedback questionnaires
- Shares emergency duty on a rota basis
Requirements:
- Must be a team player, able to lead from the front, outgoing and detail-oriented
- Previous experience in a customer service environment, ideally with young people and strong emotional intelligence
- Passionate about customer service and providing quality
- Ability to work under pressure in a high-paced environment
- Mindset of going above and beyond and never settling for the status quo
- Fluent in English
- All offers subject to a clear enhanced DBS check and two references
- Right to work in the UK upon commencement of contract
