EF Oxford International Language Campus is looking for friendly, empathetic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Homestay Coordinators for summer 2026.
Position Details
- Full-time
- 5 days a week
- Fixed-term contract between April/May - August 2026
By building strong relationships with hosts and students, you’ll help create a positive, enriching homestay experience. Coordinating placements and resolving queries, you’ll be central to delivering excellent care and customer service throughout the summer period.

Responsibilities
- Processing & maintaining homestay accommodation records using EF’s own accommodation database
- Assigning accommodation to students using internal allocation system and keeping accurate records of roomings
- Ownership of the Summer School (based at Oxford Brookes University) homestay programme during peak season from June until August
- Closing complaints in a timely manner from students or their hosts and escalating to the Homestay Manager where appropriate
- Preparing verbal and written information (mainly via phone call/text/email) for prospective and current hosts, ensuring it is kept up to date
- Providing pre-departure accommodation information to hosts about arriving students
- Reporting to the Homestay Manager to ensure sufficient homestay beds for the peak season and helping with recruitment of new hosts where necessary
- Ensuring student details are provided accurately each week for arriving and departing students
- Providing a high level of customer service to students and hosts
- Supporting students and host families with move and transfer requests when necessary
- Striving to improve the quality of the homestay provision
- Sharing emergency duty of the Summer School phone on a rota basis during peak season
Requirements
- Previous experience in tele-sales and/or face-to-face customer service experience
- Experience in a language-learning environment (desired)
- Organised with a high level of attention to detail
- Capable of using your own initiative
- Complete fluency in English
- All offers are subject to a clear enhanced DBS check and two references
- Right to work in the UK upon commencement of your contract
