EF (Education First) Manchester International Language Campus is seeking enthusiastic and outgoing individuals to join our Activities & Events Team as Activity Leaders for summer 2026. In this role, you will organize and lead activities, events and excursions, creating an unforgettable experience for international students.
Position Details
- Part-time
- Flexible hours, 7 days a week
- Typically 20-30 hours per week
- Dates available between May — August 2026
Every day is different – from city trips, to themed parties and interactive games. You’ll play a key part in helping students feel welcome, confident and connected, while also developing your own leadership and communication skills in a fun and multicultural environment. Responsibilities
- Leads groups of international students on a variety of activities, events, ceremonies and day trips
- Creates a lively atmosphere throughout the site and during excursions, all while delivering excellent customer service
- Helps students break cultural barriers and build friendships by facilitating activities that get them speaking English, sharing their cultures and learning from one another
- Takes responsibility for health, safety and well-being of all students, including completing and adhering to risk assessments and emergency situations in line with EF policy and procedures
- Liaises with co-leaders, Activities and Events Coordinator & Manager to discuss how to improve future activities, events, ceremonies and day trips
- Ensures the EF behaviour code is always followed by all students and informs the management immediately if there are any issues or problems
- Supports with local EF social media accounts – filming and editing content (optional)
Requirements
- Highly motivated, energetic and positive with a sociable and outgoing personality
- Confident in leading and managing groups of students
- Highly organised and thorough, able to use initiative and work unsupervised
- Ability to handle difficult situations with ease and remain calm under pressure
- Customer service mindset
- Appreciation of cultural differences and sensitive to the needs of international students
- A flexible approach to work and hours of work undertaken is essential
- Is a trained First Aider (preferable but not essential)
- All offers are subject to a clear enhanced DBS check and two references
- Right to work in the UK on commencement of employment
