Summer Homestay Recruitment Coordinator

EF London International Language Campus is seeking a Summer Homestay Recruitment Coordinator to help grow and support our homestay community.

In this role you’ll connect with local families by phone and at recruitment stands to encourage them to join our community, while placing international students in welcoming homes.

The focus is on creating safe, supportive, and culturally enriching experiences for both students and homestay providers.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively contact prospective homestay providers by phone or at recruitment events to introduce EF, build relationships, and encourage them to join our homestay community.
  • Attend local recruitment events or organize info sessions at community centres to present the benefits of hosting international students.
  • Own and manage sales pipeline, from generating leads to following up and converting, hitting key KPIs.
  • Work with providers to find suitable accommodation for language students while they study in the UK.
  • Process and maintain homestay accommodation records using EF’s accommodation database.
  • Visit potential host homes, check living standards, assess cultural compatibility, and complete safety evaluations.
  • Report to Accommodation Manager to ensure sufficient homestay beds for peak season and provide accurate student details weekly.
  • Support students and providers with move and transfer requests when necessary.
  • Strive to improve the quality of our homestay provision.

Requirements

  • A flexible, hands‑on approach to on‑call nature and work hours is essential.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and CRMs is desirable.
  • Highly motivated, energetic, and positive.
  • Customer‑service orientated with a friendly & approachable manner.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and diffuse potentially difficult situations.
  • Sensitive to needs of international students living away from home.
  • Excellent communication skills with students, colleagues, and external clients.
  • Attention to detail, organized, and thorough.
  • Offers subject to clear enhanced DBS check and two references.
  • Legally able to work in the UK at commencement of employment.
