EF Torquay summer school is seeking dedicated and outgoing teachers to join our team for summer 2025. If you are passionate about shaping young minds, adept at engaging diverse groups of students, and committed to fostering cross-cultural understanding, we would love to hear from you.
Your Role:
- Monday β Friday + Saturday or Sunday
- Full-time
- Fixed-term contract from June β August 2025 (minimum three-week commitment)
- Accommodation and meals on offer in exchange for residence duties
Responsibilities:
- Deliver general English and special interest courses
- Plan and teach classes
- Track attendance and attend all teacher meetings
- Mark studentsβ work
- Participate in peer observation programmes
- Write student reports when required
- Act as an ambassador for EF
Requirements:
- Available to work in July 2025
- TEFL qualified
- Excellent communication skills
- Sensitive to the needs of international students
- Confident in teaching teens and young learners
- Demonstrates a high level of customer service
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- All offers are subject to a clear enhanced DBS check and two references
- Right to work in the UK at commencement of employment
- C2 level of English
