EF Oxford Brookes summer school is seeking dedicated and outgoing TEFL English Teachers to join our team for summer 2025. If you are passionate about shaping young minds, adept at engaging diverse groups of students, and committed to fostering cross-cultural understanding, we would love to hear from you.
Working hours: Monday – Friday + Saturday or Sunday (6 days p/w)
Contract: Full-time, fixed-term from June – August 2025 (minimum three-week commitment). Meals included.
Responsibilities:
- Following the EF Fast Track textbooks to deliver general English and special interest courses.
- Planning and teaching classes, tracking attendance, and attending all teacher meetings.
- Marking students’ work.
- Leading day trips on Saturdays with students to London, Cambridge, Bristol, and more.
- Participating in peer observation programmes.
- Writing student reports when required.
- Acting as an ambassador for EF.
Requirements:
- Available to work in July 2025.
- TEFL or CELTA (or equivalent) qualified.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Sensitive to the needs of international students.
- Demonstrates a high level of customer service.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Attend a training weekend (prior to your contract commencing) on 14th and 15th June.
