Overview
EF Oxford is seeking an enthusiastic all-rounder to join our facilities team as Maintenance Operative, working at our large international campus in Headington.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual who can work both independently and as part of a team.
Position Details
- Full-time – Thursday to Monday, or Friday to Tuesday
- 9AM to 6PM
- Immediate start available
- Permanent contract
- Please note that we will be filling either this full-time Maintenance Operative position or both of the part-time roles (Weekend and Afternoon Maintenance Operative) advertised online.
Your Role
- General maintenance & repairs
- Basic plumbing, electrics, painting & decorating
- Furniture assembly & moving
- Dealing with contractors regarding building issues
- Assisting with the management of maintenance supplies
- Updating work lists & taking a proactive approach to site management
Requirements
- Good English communication skills and customer-facing experience
- Flexible approach & teamwork skills
- The ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a lone-working environment
