Your Role

EF Isle of Wight Summer School is searching for an energetic and organised individual to join our summer 2025 team as Activities and Events Manager. This is the perfect opportunity to develop your managerial skills whilst gaining experience within an international organisation.

With EF, you’ll be part of a fast-paced and dynamic international working environment. After a summer of leading our activities and events program, you will have taken your management skills to the next level. Your communication skills will have been maximised by working with different cultures and backgrounds to ensure a smooth and seamless delivery of every activity.

Responsibilities

  • Working with the summer management team to deliver an exceptional experience to our students, you will have the overall responsibility for the activity and events program in your school.
  • You will be directly involved in shaping our student’s experiences, planning and delivering everything from interactive games for small groups to large wow events of over 1000 students.
  • You will be supporting a team of local and international leaders in ensuring all activities give the students a sense of the local culture, whilst being safe and unforgettably fun.
  • On a daily basis, you will be part of a diverse team and community; liaising with our local suppliers as well as motivating and shaping your team of leaders to create the summer of a lifetime for every student.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership skills with some management/team leading experience required.
  • Commitment to the highest level of customer service.
  • Sociable and fun disposition with the ability to motivate and energise others.
  • Financial and business acumen.
  • English fluency and excellent communication skills.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Ability to work and thrive under pressure.
  • All offers are subject to a clear enhanced DBS check and two references.
  • Legally able to work in the UK at commencement of employment.
