Scienta have partnered with a rapidly growing biotech, seeking a Vice President of Research to lead their preclinical immunotherapy pipeline. This is a unique opportunity to drive the development of breakthrough immunotherapies using a cutting-edge AI based drug development platform. This role is pivotal for building out their pipeline, driving R&D initiatives, and leading a world-class research team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of a preclinical immunotherapy pipeline, advancing novel therapeutic candidates.
  • Define and execute the scientific and translational strategy, aligning R&D efforts with corporate goals.
  • Build and lead a high-performing R&D team, fostering an innovative and collaborative culture.
  • Drive strategic collaborations, partnerships, and licensing opportunities within the biotech and pharma industry.

Qualifications

  • PhD, MD, or equivalent in Immunology, Molecular Biology, or related field.

  • Strong leadership experience with a history of building and managing high-performing R&D teams.
