Join EF London Waterloo International Language Campus as an Activity Leader this summer, and play a key role in helping international students create lifelong memories! For the right candidate, there is also the possibility of accommodation being provided as part of the role with added residential duties.
Position Details:
- Full weekday and weekend availability required
- No fixed hours, but up to 40 hours p/w available
- Potential for full-time employment post summer

Responsibilities
- Leads groups of international students on a variety of activities and events within London, and Day Trips across the wider UK
- Researches excursion destinations, leads a guided tour at the destination and gives interesting information and facts to students.
- Creates a lively atmosphere during excursions, delivering excellent customer service
- Takes responsibility for health and safety of all students including completing and adhering to risk assessments and emergency situations in line with EF policy and procedures
- Liaises with co-leaders and the Activities and Events Manager to discuss how to improve future activities and gives a thorough handover after each activity or event to aid future planning
- Attends and assists with large events and parties.
- Ensures the EF Student Code of Conduct is followed by all students at all times and informs the management immediately if there are any issues or problems
Requirements
- Highly motivated, energetic and positive with a sociable personality
- Confident in leading and managing large groups of students
- Highly organised and thorough, able to use initiative and work unsupervised
- An interest in history and tour-guiding
- A team player, happy to work in collaboration with others
- Ability to handle difficult situations with ease and remain calm under pressure
- Customer service minded and quality oriented
- Awareness and appreciation of cultural differences
- Excellent communicator both with students, colleagues, and external clients
- Candidates must have flexible availability, with the ability to work evenings, nights and weekends when required
- Fluency in English
- All offers are subject to a clear enhanced DBS check and two references
- Right to work in the UK on commencement of employment
