Your Role

Work with a professional academic team and award-nominated materials to deliver EF's program to groups of up to 17 language students. Your primary goal will be to create a positive, supportive environment that helps students build confidence in their language skills. This part-time role (20–32 hours per week) also involves mentoring teachers and students, supporting colleagues with classroom management, and conducting lesson observations with structured feedback. You'll be a key part of fostering a collaborative and engaging learning experience for both staff and students. The position is on a 12 month fixed term contract, with potential for permanent employment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver general English and special interest courses
  • Support colleagues in lesson planning, classroom management, and language teaching knowledge and skills
  • Induct and mentor students and/or teachers
  • Contribute sessions to the CPD programme
  • Assist with other academic administration as required to support the senior team
  • Be an ambassador for EF, its products and its services, and represent the company professionally at internal and external events

Requirements

  • CELTA / CertTESOL qualified or equivalent
  • At least 3 years’ experience in TEFL
  • Sensitive to the needs of international students
  • Demonstrates a high level of customer service
  • Has strong administrative and organisational skills
  • C2 level of English
  • Clear DBS check and two references
  • Right to work in the UK
