Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom (On-site) Full time EF Language Abroad Seasonal Entry‑Level Teaching EF (Education First) Cambridge Clare College Summer School is seeking dedicated and outgoing teachers for Summer 2026. Full‑time, 6 days a week, fixed‑term contract between June – August 2026 (minimum two‑week commitment). If you are passionate about shaping young minds, engaging diverse groups of students, and fostering cross‑cultural understanding, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Inspire international students to improve their English in fun, communicative lessons
  • Plan, prepare and deliver effective lessons to diverse groups of learners
  • Track student attendance, assess progress, and provide regular feedback
  • Facilitate testing and maintain academic records
  • Lead academic excursions to sites around the UK
  • Participate in teacher briefings, staff meetings, and professional development sessions
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative academic team environment
  • Act as an ambassador for EF

Requirements

  • Available between June – August 2026
  • TEFL or CELTA (preferred) qualified
  • Sensitive to the needs of international students
  • Confident in teaching young learners (13‑17)
  • Demonstrates a high level of customer service
  • Has strong administrative and organisational skills
  • All offers are subject to a clear enhanced DBS check and two references
  • Right to work in the UK at commencement of employment
  • C2 level of English
