EF Bournemouth Summer School is looking for a Residence Manager for a full-time, fixed-term position between June and August 2026. Accommodation and full board are available if necessary.

Challenge yourself this summer! This role offers the opportunity to gain management experience while working in an international environment. You will be responsible for overseeing the onsite residence staff and assisting your residence leaders in guiding their groups.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working with the summer management team to deliver an exceptional experience to our students.
  • Having overall responsibility for a hotel/residence and the students/staff who are staying there.
  • Supporting a team of international leaders to ensure our students have a home away from home experience.
  • Taking care of room allocation and supervising a team of leaders.
  • Liaising with residence owners and staff on cleaning, theme events, and safety.
  • Sharing the emergency duty of the site on a rota basis.

Requirements for the role include:

  • A flexible approach to hours of work.
  • Experience of managing or leading a team is desirable.
  • Highly motivated, energetic, and positive.
  • Customer service oriented with a friendly and approachable manner.
  • Able to remain calm under pressure and diffuse potentially difficult situations.
  • Sensitive to the needs of international students living away from home.
  • Excellent communication skills with students, colleagues, and external clients.
  • Attention to detail, organized, and thorough.
  • Right to work in the UK.

This is a live-in position where accommodation and full board are provided at no extra cost. All offers are subject to a clear enhanced DBS check and two references.
