You will be the face of The Bakehouse Café at Ashridge House where you will craft quality coffees and drinks, serve food and engage with our guests who expect the highest standard of delivery. This opportunity will allow you to grow your skillset, find your strengths and your areas for development which we can work with you on!

Responsibilities Include:

  • Greeting and engaging with guests in a warm and friendly manner
  • Making quality coffees and drinks to a high standard
  • Serving food and drinks to guests
  • Being knowledgeable regarding food and drink menus
  • Building a positive relationship with guests
  • Taking payments from guests and suggesting additional products
  • Setting The Bakehouse up in the mornings ready for guests to arrive
  • Clearing The Bakehouse after service

  • Strong sense of customer service
  • Highly enthusiastic and motivated
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
  • Goes above and beyond to deliver a high-quality guest experience
  • Previous experience working as a barista
