Hult International Business School seeks impact-focused and research-active faculty to develop and mentor the next generation of international business leaders. We are looking for candidates who have sufficient breadth or depth of specialist and core knowledge in their discipline, as demonstrated by a PhD or DBA, a strong record of academic publishing, and the potential to secure publications in top-tier peer-reviewed journals in the near future.

Applicants for the position will be expected to contribute to the School's research strategy by producing academically rigorous and practically oriented research and contributing to the wider vibrant research community at Hult through research excellence. In terms of teaching, we are looking for candidates who will teach courses at the undergraduate, graduate or doctorate level. As such, we are looking for candidates with strong teaching skills and who strive to innovate their teaching methods and pedagogy. In line with the School's philosophy, we are looking for candidates who can develop innovative teaching cases and other pedagogical materials.

Finally, we are looking for candidates who will integrate into our community and help drive all aspects of the Hult educational experience, including those outside of the classroom.

Expected Qualifications:

  • An earned doctorate (PhD or DBA) directly related to area of teaching from an accredited institution.
  • Evidence of successful teaching to large groups of internationally diverse students at the university level. Ideally, at least three university level courses with an evaluation of at least 4 out of 5.
  • Evidence of scholarly activity directly related to the applicant's discipline, with at least one peer-reviewed article and one practitioner-related output per year.
  • Professional experience in international business is highly desirable to bring direct, relevant business practice into the classroom.
