EF London International Language Campus is seeking a proactive and personable individual to join our homestay/host family recruitment team as a Homestay Assessor connecting international students with welcoming homestay providers.

In this role, you\'ll visit and assess providers, guide them through onboarding and ensure safeguarding compliance – all while helping to create a welcoming, ‘home away from home’ experience for our international students.

  • Saturdays & Sundays
  • Estimated 16 hours per week (zero-hour contract)

Responsibilities

  • Visiting and assessing homestay providers and completing paperwork (a strong focus on compliance)
  • Liaising with our existing homestay community and handling enquiries
  • Matching international students with providers and assisting in placements
  • Participating in EF events
  • Following up with newly collected paperwork and entering information into a database
  • Keeping homestay database up-to-date

Requirements

  • Highly motivated, energetic and positive with a sociable and outgoing personality
  • Friendly and approachable manner, not afraid to speak to strangers
  • Highly organised and thorough, able to use initiative and work unsupervised
  • Excellent communicator with external clients such as host families, students, and colleagues
  • A flexible approach to work and hours of work undertaken is essential
  • Complete fluency in English
  • Access to a car a bonus
  • All offers are subject to a clear enhanced background check and two references
  • Legally able to work in the UK at commencement of employment
