EF Oxford International Language Campus is seeking enthusiastic and outgoing individuals to join our Activities & Events Team asActivity Leaders.

In this role, you will organize and lead activities, events and excursions, all while creating an unforgettable experience for our international students.

Every day is different, from city trips, to themed parties and interactive games. This is a great opportunity to develop interpersonal and leadership skills, in a fun and multicultural environment.

  • Flexible zero hour contract, with potential for 15-30 hours p/week

Responsibilities

  • Leads groups of international students on a variety of activities and day trips
  • Creates a lively atmosphere during excursions, delivering excellent customer service
  • Takes responsibility for health and safety of all students including completing and adhering to risk assessments and emergency situations in line with EF policy and procedures
  • Research excursion destinations, leads a guided tour at the destination and gives interesting information and facts to students
  • Liaises with co-leaders and the Activities and Events Manager/Activities Coordinator to discuss how to improve future activities and gives a thorough handover after each activity or event to aid future planning
  • Attends and assists the Activities and Events Manager with large events
  • Ensures the EF Student Code of Conduct is followed by all students at all times and informs the management immediately if there are any issues or problems

Requirements

  • Highly motivated, energetic and positive with a sociable, outgoing personality
  • Confident in leading and managing groups of students
  • Highly organised and thorough, able to use initiative and work unsupervised
  • Ability to handle difficult situations with ease and remain calm under pressure
  • Customer service minded and quality oriented
  • Awareness and appreciation of cultural differences.
  • Excellent communicator both with students, colleagues, and external clients
  • A flexible approach to work and hours of work undertaken is essential
  • Fluency in English
  • All offers are subject to a clear enhanced DBS check and two references
  • Right to work in the UK at commencement of employment
