We are looking for a Database Administrator (DBA) to join our Data Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our databases, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. You will also collaborate with the Development Team to support their data requirements and optimize database solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain Oracle, AWS RDS, PostgreSQL, and MySQL databases.
  • Design, implement, and manage database architecture, replication, sharding, clustering, and high-availability configurations.
  • Optimize database performance through tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
  • Troubleshoot complex database issues and provide proactive solutions.
  • Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies.
  • Support the Development Team with data-related needs, including schema design, query optimization, and data provisioning.
  • Monitor database health, security, and capacity planning.
  • Implement automation for routine database tasks.
  • Document database configurations, procedures, and best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in database administration.
  • Strong knowledge of database architecture, replication, sharding, clustering, and high-availability setups.
  • Proven experience in performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting complex database issues.
  • Proficiency in SQL for query writing and optimization.
  • Experience with database monitoring and backup strategies.
