Role Overview
The Senior BI Analyst plays a strategic role in shaping the company’s data-driven culture. You will turn complex data into clear, impactful insights through intuitive dashboards and scalable BI solutions. Partnering with business, product, and engineering teams, you’ll empower stakeholders with the tools and intelligence needed to make confident, data-informed decisions and elevate analytics across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business, product, and operations teams to understand analytical needs and deliver insightful, visualized dashboards.
- Design and develop enterprise-grade BI dashboards, supporting data-driven decision-making for business stakeholders and leadership.
- Participate in the planning and development of the internal BI system, including features such as reporting platforms, data source integration, self-service analytics, and permission management.
- Work closely with both frontend and backend engineers to implement end-to-end data pipelines—from raw data to dashboard delivery.
- Continuously optimize data models and metric definitions to ensure consistency, accuracy, and long-term maintainability of reports.
- Monitor BI tool usage, analyze user behavior, and propose improvements to enhance user experience and system performance.
- Document dashboard logic, data dictionaries, and user manuals to support internal data literacy and promote a self-service analytics culture.
Qualifications
- Experience building analytical data marts or topic‑based datasets is a plus.
- Strong logical thinking and cross‑functional communication skills — capable of translating business questions into practical data solutions.
- Product mindset towards BI tools — able to design scalable features and workflows from the user’s perspective.
- Nice to Have: Experience contributing to internal BI platform development or report system productization.
- Familiarity with data pipelines or orchestration tools like Python, dbt, Airflow, etc.
- Knowledge of modern analytical databases such as ClickHouse, Doris, BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake.
- Hands‑on experience building self‑service query modules, embedded BI dashboards, or role‑based access control systems.
- Project coordination or cross‑team collaboration experience on BI implementation projects.
