Key Responsibilities
- Assist in defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables within the game development lifecycle.
- Ensure alignment between creative vision, business goals, and technical feasibility with stakeholders.
- Coordinate project schedules and track progress to ensure velocity and timely completion of tasks.
- Manage resources including personnel, equipment, and budgets, identifying and reporting bottlenecks in a timely manner.
- Serve as the main point of contact for a cross-functional department. Regularly update all parties on project progress, risks, and issues.
- Maintain project documentation, including project plans, timelines, reports, and meeting notes.
- Ensure all project information is stored accurately for future reference.
- Identify potential risks or blockers that may arise during the project lifecycle and proactively propose mitigation strategies.
- Assist in resolving issues that arise during project execution; organize challenges and facilitate communications between stakeholders, ensuring solutions are implemented swiftly and effectively until resolution.
- Work closely with project teams, helping to coordinate tasks, maintain motivation, and ensure collaboration among all members.
- Handle ad-hoc requests and changing priorities with agility in a fast-paced environment where requirements can shift by the minute.
- Assist with quality assurance, ensuring project deliverables meet company standards and client expectations.
Key Skills & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, STEM, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least 1-2 years of experience in project coordination, management, or administration is preferred.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex issues into clear action items and/or executive summary.
- High degree of business acumen and a strong sense of ownership.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Outstanding problem-solving, research, and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on meeting deadlines and a “no task too small” mentality.
- Thrives in a non-routine environment and stays grounded when new challenges arise unexpectedly.
