Design. Create. Inspire. Are you the kind of designer who spots a kerning issue from across the room? Do you get excited about transforming a brief into something visually compelling? Love seeing your work come to life across digital campaigns, exhibition stands, social media, websites, brochures and everything in between? If so, we might have the perfect opportunity for you.
We're looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join Oprema on a 12-month maternity cover contract. As our sole in-house designer, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of our visual identity and play a key role in shaping how our brand is seen by customers, partners and employees alike. This isn't a role where you'll be designing the same thing every day. One week you could be creating exhibition graphics for a major industry event, the next developing a social campaign, designing a new product catalogue or refreshing assets for our website. If you enjoy variety, autonomy and bringing creative ideas to life, we'd love to hear from you.
Who Are Oprema? We're one of the UK's fastest-growing security distributors, supplying innovative security solutions from over 100 leading brands. Our customers know us for our technical expertise, exceptional service and honest approach. Our people know us for our supportive culture, collaborative environment and willingness to do things differently. We're ambitious, growing fast and always looking for ways to improve—and that's where you come in.
What You'll Be Creating:
- Creative assets for both print and digital platforms, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
- Engaging content for social media channels, email campaigns, websites and other digital marketing activities.
- Marketing materials including brochures, flyers, posters, booklets, catalogues, advertisements and promotional collateral.
- Large-format print-ready artwork for exhibition stands, signage, office wall graphics and branded environments.
- Sales support materials including PowerPoint presentations, product literature, catalogues and customer-facing collateral.
- Website graphics, icons, banners and other visual assets that enhance the online customer experience.
- Creative concepts and artwork developed from initial brief through to final delivery.
- Print-ready artwork prepared to specification, working closely with printers, signage suppliers and external production partners.
- Photography, illustrations and creative resources sourced to support campaigns and projects.
- High-quality artwork that is thoroughly reviewed for accuracy, spelling, brand consistency and technical compliance.
- Multiple design projects managed simultaneously, balancing priorities and delivering work to agreed deadlines.
- Visual solutions created in collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Product and Technical teams to support business objectives.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in a Graphic Design role.
- A strong portfolio showcasing both print and digital design projects.
- Excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and After Effects).
- Strong typography, layout and visual storytelling abilities.
- Experience preparing artwork for both print production and digital publishing.
- Confidence managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for producing high-quality work.
- The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues across the business.
- Experience working on macOS.
- A degree in Graphic Design.
Why You'll Love It Here:
At Oprema, you'll have the freedom to make your mark. As our dedicated in-house designer, your ideas won't sit in a folder gathering dust. You'll see your work used across campaigns, events, digital platforms and customer communications throughout the business. You'll join a friendly, supportive team where collaboration is encouraged, creativity is valued and achievements are celebrated.
What You'll Get:
- Competitive salary £35,000-£40,000 per annum
