The Role

The role will provide essential administrative support to the Waste Management Department. Working closely with the Production Specialist, the person will help manage waste-related documentation, liaise with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure the accurate maintenance of waste management records. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn, develop new skills, and contribute to the sustainability efforts of EET Fuels. This is a fixed term opportunity for 3 years.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support within the Waste Management Department.
  • Assist in the arrangements for off-site treatment and disposal of waste, including preparing necessary documentation and maintaining records.
  • Support the Production Specialist in responding to waste management enquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the accurate transfer of information and related waste movement records.
  • Assist with the production and maintenance of records for waste collection, transport, treatment, recycling and disposal for both on-site and off-site waste management activities.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of waste management activities as required.
  • Ensure all operational systems and records are up to date, including those required for legal compliance.

About You

Our ideal candidate should have GCSEs in English and Maths Grade C or 4 and above with good strong communication skills both written and verbal. You should have strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and can work as part of a team and independently under supervision. You should have a willingness to learn and have a proactive approach to personal development. You should be computer literate including a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite is required.
