We work with major retail fuel brands, supermarkets, Manchester Airport, leading airlines, and regional transport operators. We are also a key partner in the HyNet project, helping to deliver the region’s low carbon future. With over 900 skilled colleagues, we offer a strong safety culture, technically challenging work, and some of the best training in the energy sector.
The Senior Process Safety Technologist provides advanced technical safety expertise across EET Fuels’ Upper Tier COMAH sites, ensuring regulatory compliance and reducing major accident hazards to ALARP. Working closely with HSSEQ, operations, maintenance, and assurance teams, the role ensures robust risk management, high‑quality safety studies, and strong alignment to EET Fuels’ integrated management system. It also engages with regulators, external networks, and third‑party specialists to maintain industry‑leading safety practices.

- Embed COMAH requirements and develop/maintain safety standards.
- Lead or act as SME for HAZOP, LOPA, QRA, HAC, and major hazard studies.
- Drive incident learning, assurance activities, audits, and KPI reporting.
- Champion continuous improvement, training, and safety culture initiatives.
- Support emergency response duties and ensure all plant changes meet ALARP.
About You
