About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of Essar’s Aviation business and lead the growth of our Jet Fuel value chain. You’ll drive strategic expansion with airlines, international oil companies, and reseller partners and support our ambition to deliver significant growth in our Jet sales portfolio. Operating at a senior level, you’ll build long-term customer partnerships, identify new commercial opportunities, and guide our entry into new airport markets. As a key member of the Aviation Sales Delivery Commercial Leadership Team, you will lead Essar’s Aviation Marketing Strategy, work closely with the Head of Sales to deliver world-class marketing operations, and influence commercial decision-making in a rapidly evolving UK fuel landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the aviation marketing strategy and support the wider commercial vision.
- Develop margin-maximising channel strategies.
- Deliver and monitor annual business plans across volumes, netbacks, margin, credit performance, forecasting accuracy and new business growth.
- Identify, justify and implement new business opportunities.
- Champion Key Account Management and build strong senior customer relationships.
- Oversee service provider performance to protect customer KPIs and costs.
- Lead Annual Business Review meetings and represent Essar at UK and global aviation events.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team with future-ready capabilities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver customer-focused projects.
- Work closely with Supply & Logistics to ensure product availability across the network.

You Bring
- Extensive UK-wide commercial sales experience.
- Strong understanding of the UK jet fuel supply chain and aviation sector (Europe advantageous).
- Proven Key Account Management expertise, including managing service providers and controlling cost to serve.
- Significant project management experience, especially onboarding new vendors.
- A track record of influencing across multiple functions to deliver aligned outcomes.
You Are Someone Who
- Builds strong, credible relationships with airlines, oil companies, into-plane operators and infrastructure partners.
- Can confidently lead new airport market entry projects.
- Combines entrepreneurial thinking with sound risk–reward judgement.
