About the Role
We’re seeking to appoint a commercially minded Estates & Facilities professional to support the transition of Thornton Science Park (TSP) into the EET Property and play a key role in its day‑to‑day commercial and operational management portfolio. You’ll act as deputy to the Estates & Facilities Manager, managing relationships with tenants and service providers, supporting lease and licence negotiations, overseeing site operations, and ensuring high standards of safety, compliance and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting commercial management, lease/licence renewals and business development
- Overseeing site access, security, inductions and property services
- Managing budgets, cost control and identifying efficiencies
- Coordinating with external FM/PM providers
- Supporting major projects, relocations, infrastructure upgrades and maintenance
- Ensuring HSSE compliance and supporting audit/reporting requirements
- Contributing to digitalisation and continuous improvement across TSP
This role suits someone confident managing multiple stakeholders and balancing commercial, operational and compliance demands.
About You
You’ll have strong experience in commercial or industrial property management, ideally across multi‑occupancy sites with a mix of FM and property management activities.
We’re Looking For Someone With
- Significant experience in real estate management and external service‑provider oversight
- Knowledge of lease/licence negotiations and working with legal teams
- Strong commercial awareness and experience managing budgets
- HSSE awareness and experience supporting compliance and audits
- Proficiency with business IT systems (SAP advantageous)
You Will Also Bring
- Appropriate qualifications for managing a commercial mixed-use portfolio covering all health and safety aspects.
- A full driving licence and flexibility to travel as needed
