UX Researcher - Digital Interaction

Job Title: UX Researcher – Digital Interaction\\n\\nLocation: Warwickshire\\n\\nHybrid (3–5 days per week onsite, depending on test activity)\\n\\nWe are seeking practical, hands-on UX Researchers with a passion for user testing and digital interaction within the automotive space. You will be embedded in a multi-disciplinary team, actively conducting research on a wide range of prototypes – from virtual simulations to in-vehicle systems.\\n\\nThis is a delivery-focused role, requiring an agile mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to generate insights that directly influence the design process. You’ll be working at the heart of human-machine interaction development for future digital experiences.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\n * Plan and execute UX testing activities across vehicles and multiple prototype platforms (e.g., VR, simulators, functional systems)\\n\\n * Conduct usability studies using both qualitative and quantitative methods\\n\\n * Identify usability issues and collaborate with UX designers to improve flows and interaction\\n\\n * Summarise and communicate actionable research insights to internal stakeholders\\n\\n * Contribute to user personas, benchmarking activities, and usability tracking\\n\\n * Maintain testing documentation and support agile sprint planning cycles\\n\\n * Participate in early concept validation and final product assessment\\n\\nEssential Skills & Experience:\\n\\n * Demonstrated experience conducting usability studies and user testing\\n Understanding of user-centered design and interaction principles\\n Ability to clearly identify friction points and recommend improvements\\n Confident testing physical, digital, and immersive prototypes\\n Strong communication and presentation skills\\n Proactive, team-oriented, and comfortable in agile delivery environments\\n Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence\\n\\nDesirable Skills:\\n\\n * Familiarity with automotive UX, including driver distraction and attention principles\\n\\n * Awareness of accessibility best practices\\n\\n * Exposure to tools such as eye-tracking, user testing platforms, or behavioural analytics\\n\\n * Experience working within multidisciplinary design teams, especially with developers\\n\\nIdeal Personal Attributes:\\n\\n * Energetic, enthusiastic, and highly delivery-focused\\n\\n * Adaptable and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment\\n\\n * Comfortable with hands-on testing and rapid iteration\\n\\n * Able to take initiative and bring momentum to complex UX projects\\n\\n * Genuine interest in automotive design and digital innovation
