Job title: Senior System Safety Eng (Compliance /Test / Homologation / Safety)\\n\\nLocation: Warwickshire\\n\\nEmployment: Contract\\n\\nIR35 determination: Inside\\n\\nDepartment: EP-5 Batteries\\n\\nDuties:\\n\\n * Reviews product systems, associated support equipment and facilities, functional specifications and operations, and establishes safety requirements for assigned systems.\\n\\n * Independently analyses and recommends safety criteria in system design, equipment and procedures to control or eliminate hazards.\\n\\n * Develops safety documents as required to support customer and test/operational range requirements.\\n\\n * Performs audits of operational areas and reports the effectiveness of the system safety program.\\n\\n * Participates in accident investigations involving damage to products or related facilities and assists in the identification of causes and corrective actions.\\n\\n * Evaluates the interrelationship of system safety requirements and other aspects of concept design and development requirements to ensure the most cost-effective program.\\n\\nResponsibilities typically include:\\n\\n * Managing large projects or processes with limited oversight from manager.\\n\\n * Coaching, reviewing and delegating work to lower-level professionals.\\n\\n * Problems faced are difficult and often complex.\\n\\nSkills:\\n\\n * HV system knowledge & ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) knowledge of all the parts\\n\\n * BEV & PHEV HV system architecture knowledge\\n\\n * Design Validation (DV) and Production Validation (PV)\\n\\n * Experience with full Safety Lifecycle from Hazard analysis and risk assessments through to safety validation\\n\\n * Ability to lead safety analysis activities across interdisciplinary teams\\n\\n * Strong technical writing and Documentation skills\\n\\n * Hands-on experience with safety verification testing and fault injection testing.\\n\\nEducation:\\n\\n * Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics or related field.\\n\\n * Additional certification in Functional safety.\\n\\n * 7-10 years Functional Safety HV system\\n\\n * ASIL (Automotive Safety Integrity Level) assessments and FMEA (Failure Modes Effects and Diagnostic Analysis)\\n\\n * Strong understanding of High Voltage Architectures (batteries, inverters, power distribution, charger, DCDC)
