Job Description
Job Title: Project Engineer – Bill of Materials (BoM)\\n\\nLocation: Warwickshire\\n\\nJob Category: Technical Product Development\\n\\nEES Solution is seeking a Project Engineer – Bill of Materials (BoM) to support one of our clients within the automotive sector. This role sits within the Product Information team, focusing on the accurate creation, maintenance, and interrogation of the Bill of Materials in the early phases of product programmes. You’ll be a critical part of ensuring data integrity and quality through multiple vehicle development stages and gateways.\\n\\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with experience in BoM processes and data management, looking to work on global vehicle lines across current and future platforms.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\n * Manage the creation, configuration, and changes to Bills of Materials in both legacy and future systems\\n\\n * Collaborate with engineering teams across departments to guide and support the BoM management process\\n\\n * Conduct regular BoM quality checks, including:\\n\\n * Commodity audits\\n\\n * Full-scale validation events\\n\\n * Ensure data completeness and accuracy across programme milestones\\n\\n * Challenge incoming data or information where necessary and proactively gather additional input from stakeholders to build coherent BoMs\\n\\n * Work across multiple programmes, brands, and global manufacturing facilities\\n\\nRequired Skills & Experience:\\n\\n * Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel\\n\\n * Proven ability to manage and deliver multiple tasks or projects simultaneously\\n\\n * Effective at problem-solving, with a strong analytical mindset\\n\\n * Able to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team\\n\\n * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills\\n\\nDesirable Skills:\\n\\n * Previous experience working with Bill of Materials (BoM) in a technical or engineering environment\\n\\n * Familiarity with Agile methodologies\\n\\n * Automotive or manufacturing industry experience is a plus
