THE ROLE
An opportunity for an ambitious and skilled Technical Project Manager with an M&E background is required for a large firm of construction consultants in central London.
This role is to work in the DATA CENTRE team.
You will have a Building Services Engineering background (Mechanical & Electrical Engineering).
This is a good opportunity to join a growing team within an internationally respected firm of consultants.
The Company
My client is a large firm of construction consultants providing Quantity Surveying / Cost Management, Employers Agent, and Project Management services for projects both in the UK and abroad.
They have offices across the UK and internationally.
Their projects include new builds and refurbishments across sectors such as commercial offices, hotels, residential, arenas, sports stadia, data centres, airports, life sciences, and more.
The Candidate
- HNC, BSc, MSc, or similar qualification in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or related fields.
- Background as a Building Services Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical).
- Chartered status such as MRICS, MCIBSE, or CEng is advantageous.
- Significant experience managing data centre projects from design to construction and handover.
- Excellent client-facing skills and ability to attract new clients.
- Good pre- and post-contract project management experience from inception to completion.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Stable work record.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
Salary ranges from £80,000 to £110,000 or more, plus benefits including professional fees, health insurance, pension, discretionary bonus, and others.
