The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

The role holder delivers defined revenue, product volume and quality targets through the acquisition, up-sell and retention of UK SME customers. Sales opportunities are initiated by either an outbound dialler call, inbound call from a customer or outbound call as part of a specific campaign and in accordance with business requirements.

Work with a defined account base of small SME customers, who typically have single sites and relatively simple order needs.

  • Develop successful, sustainable, and profitable relationships within the defined account base.
  • Follow BT sales methodology and procedures to retain, develop and grow business such as effective questioning to landscape accounts.
  • Keep sales tools and systems up to date and well organized with accurate customer information, to support effective decision making and to comply with GDPR.
  • Identify both new business opportunities and growth opportunities within the account base.
  • Influence decision makers to make timely decisions that help us achieve the business outcomes.

Comfortable using IT systems, databases and software packages – previous experience with databases, data savvy, emails and UC such as Teams. Adaptable and willing to learn - able to take guidance, constructive feedback and follow processes taught during training, flexible to try new methods when guided to do so. Experience in a sales environment is advantageous – although not essential, being willing to learn, driven and ambitious goes a long way.
