Why this role matters
As a Commercial Manager for Mobile Trading, you’ll be accountable for delivering the pay monthly handset trading plan for new customers.
This role sits within EE’s Consumer function and is critical to the company\’s commercial strategy and profit and loss outcomes.
You will work alongside Marketing, Finance, Customer Base and the wider Trading team to report on EE’s current performance, identify opportunities and risks to the trading plan and recommend action to drive positive commercial outcomes.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Review and clearly articulate handset trading performance with commercial recommendations.
- Present trading updates to Senior Managers (weekly) and Director level stakeholders (ad hoc).
- Drive the handset trading plan across all relevant internal functions, including input into the handset promotional plan, working with the customer base team on relevant customer communications, and partnering with Marketing to understand upcoming propositional changes and demand generation.
- Collaborate with Finance teams to build and submit business cases for new activity, present proposals in relevant internal forums, and manage a pipeline of new initiatives to support risks and opportunities against commercial targets.
- Develop close working relationships with Retail, Contact Centre and Digital Trading Managers. Identify and support growth opportunities to maximise sales volumes and profitability. Hold each sales channel to account on performance metrics and delivery of commercial targets.
- Analyse market insight data and pricing to ensure EE remain competitive and deliver a positive share performance.
- Understand the EE customer base and grow cross sell opportunities through customer communication channels and sales journey optimisations.
