Role Description

This full-time, on-site Store Manager role is based in Bognor Regis. The Store Manager is responsible for leading and developing the store team, setting clear performance expectations, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. Daily tasks include managing store operations, overseeing stock and visual merchandising, and monitoring sales targets and key performance indicators. The role also includes handling escalated customer issues, driving customer satisfaction initiatives, and implementing retail loss prevention processes. The Store Manager collaborates with regional leadership, ensures compliance with company policies, and maintains a safe, inclusive, and engaging store environment.

Qualifications

• Strong customer focus, with skills in Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service to deliver consistently positive in-store experiences.
• Effective Communication skills to lead teams, provide feedback, and engage confidently with customers and stakeholders.
• Experience in Store Management, including supervising staff, managing schedules, and driving sales and operational performance.
• Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices to reduce shrinkage and safeguard store assets.
• Proven leadership abilities, including coaching, performance management, and team motivation in a retail environment.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions.
• Comfort with technology and mobile products; prior telecom or consumer electronics retail experience is an advantage.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required in a retail setting.
• Previous management or supervisory experience in retail and a relevant vocational qualification or equivalent experience are beneficial.
