About the role

We're looking for a commercially minded leader to join EE as a Regional Commercial Leader, helping drive performance, capability and consistency across a portfolio of retail stores.

This is a highly visible role that sits between Regional Leadership and Store Leadership.

You'll work closely with Store Managers and senior stakeholders to identify opportunities, improve performance and help deliver exceptional customer experiences across the region.

Rather than managing a large direct team, you'll influence, coach and support leaders to achieve stronger commercial outcomes.

You'll use insight, data and your own experience to spot opportunities, challenge thinking and help stores perform at their best.

If you enjoy developing others, improving performance and making a tangible impact across multiple locations, this is an exciting opportunity to shape the success of an entire region.

This isn't a traditional Area Manager role.

Success comes from influencing, coaching and developing others rather than relying on direct authority.

It's a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys improving performance through people, shaping regional strategy and building the capability that drives long-term success.

  • What you'll be doing
  • Partnering with Store Leaders to drive commercial performance across the region.
  • Using sales and operational data to identify opportunities, risks and performance trends.
  • Coaching and developing leaders to improve capability, confidence and results.
  • Supporting stores to deliver outstanding customer experiences and high-quality customer conversations.
  • Driving the successful implementation of new products, propositions, campaigns and strategic initiatives.
  • Sharing best practice across the region and helping create consistently high-performing teams.
  • Challenging constructively and influencing decision-making to improve business outcomes.
  • Supporting a culture of ethical, compliant and customer-focused selling.
  • Spending regular time in stores, observing performance and providing real-time coaching and support.

Essential Skills

  • Experience leading performance across multiple retail locations, regions or business units.
  • Proven experience improving sales, customer or operational performance through coaching and influence.
  • Analytical capability and confidence working with performance data and KPIs.
  • Experience leading change and embedding new ways of working.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the region.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience within telecoms, connectivity, consumer electronics or a similar multi-site customer-facing environment.
  • Previous experience as an Area Manager, Regional Manager, Cluster Manager, Retail Performance Manager or similar.
  • Experience coaching and developing Store Managers or senior retail leaders.
  • Knowledge of commercial compliance, regulated sales environments or customer outcome frameworks.
  • Experience supporting business transformation, capability programmes or large-scale operational change.

We should have examples on hand of how we've handled difficult situations or gone above and beyond to meet a customer's needs. These anecdotes will bring your application to life!

✨Familiarity with Point of Sale Systems
