Whether you have navigated challenges, balanced responsibilities or thrived while hitting targets, you already have the foundations of a great Senior Retail Advisor.

In this role, you will be a role model—offering support, encouragement, and direction when needed most. As a Senior, your influence goes beyond the excellent customer experiences you already deliver. You will still match customers with the right solutions, but you will also help keep the store running smoothly, step in to lead when the Manager and Assistant Manager are away—and create an environment where both customers and colleagues feel confident, supported, and valued. Your ability to think on your feet, stay calm in busy moments, and bring positivity to every interaction is exactly what we are looking for.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support, encouragement, and direction to colleagues as needed.
  • Help keep the store running smoothly and lead the floor in the absence of the Manager or Assistant Manager.
  • Create an environment where customers and colleagues feel confident, supported, and valued.
  • Match customers with the right solutions and deliver excellent customer experiences.
  • Adapt to changing demands, maintain composure under pressure, and bring positivity to every interaction.
Qualifications
  • Adaptability, resilience, and strong people skills.
  • Confidence and a drive to succeed, with a focus on personal and team growth.
  • A customer‑focused mindset with the ability to think on your feet and stay calm in busy moments.
  • Willingness to learn, help others grow, and take on leadership responsibilities.
Benefits
  • Online GP: Access to a private GP 24/7 for you and your immediate family.
  • Paid Carer’s Leave: Market‑leading carers leave with up to 2 weeks off.
  • Family Leave: Equalised maternity, paternity, and adoption leave—18 weeks’ full pay and 8 weeks’ half pay in the first year.
  • Huge Discounts: Save on EE & BT products, including mobile and broadband.
  • Career Development: Ongoing support to help you grow your skills and develop.
  • Season Ticket Travel Loan: Funds for your travel to and from work.
  • Volunteering Days: Paid time off to give back to your local community.
  • Optional Private Healthcare and Dental: Protection for you and your family.

We are flexible wherever possible—whether you need part‑time hours, set working days, or support during unexpected moments. This is a regulated role and is subject to a bankruptcy check in addition to our regular pre‑employment checks.

How to prepare for a job interview at EE Limited

Show Off Your Customer Service Skills

Retail is all about providing an exceptional customer experience, so be ready to discuss your past customer service stories. We should have examples on hand of how we've handled difficult situations or gone above and beyond to meet a customer's needs. These anecdotes will bring your application to life!

Familiarity with Point of Sale Systems

Many retail roles require us to work with Point of Sale (POS) systems, so it's a good idea to brush up on any relevant software you’ve used before. If you’re familiar with systems like Shopify or Square, don’t forget to mention this during the interview. Highlighting technical proficiency can set us apart from other candidates!

Understand Product Knowledge

Be prepared to discuss the products that the store sells and how we can contribute to their sales. Showing enthusiasm for the products and a willingness to learn can impress interviewers. We should research popular items or trends in the industry before the interview, so we can speak confidently about them.

Be Ready for Role-Playing Scenarios

Many retail interviews include role-playing scenarios where we might have to deal with a difficult customer or upsell a product. Practising these scenarios with a friend or family member can help us feel more comfortable. The key here is to showcase our problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure!
