What You’ll Be Doing

  • Carrying out specialist cleaning, servicing and repairs across a wide range of systems and facilities
  • Tackling tanks, bilges, compartments and ventilation systems with precision and professionalism
  • Using high-pressure jet washers and vacuum tankers to keep systems operating safely
  • Maintaining strict compliance with Health & Safety, Waste Management and environmental regulations
  • Working in confined spaces using the correct PPE and safety procedures
  • Completing all paperwork accurately and ensuring customer satisfaction every time
  • Supporting other trade groups and undertaking fire sentry duties when required
  • Representing Marlin on customer sites with the highest standards of cleanliness and conduct

Qualifications

You’re someone who knows their way around specialist equipment and understands the importance of safe working practices. Ideally, you have:

  • Experience starting up and shutting down vacuum tankers and hot pressure washers
  • Knowledge of pumping liquid/waste between ship and shore
  • Solid understanding of Confined Space working
  • Ability to follow MAR pack procedures for specialist cleaning
  • Understanding of cleaning standards: Survey, Hot Work, and Preservation
  • A proactive attitude toward safety—for yourself and your team
