We’re searching for a Revenue Manager to join our team of free thinkers and collaborators.

Role Summary:

Our properties combine the comforts of home with the amenities of upscale hotels, serving diverse travelers from short-stay guests to long-term corporate visitors. We are committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving financial growth and operational excellence. As the Revenue Manager, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the financial performance of our portfolio of hotels and extended stay properties. You will be responsible for implementing pricing strategies, analyzing market trends, and driving revenue growth by balancing occupancy and rate to maximize profitability. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Operations. Each of our regions covers 10-13 properties with an average revenue impact of £70-80m, the Revenue Manager would cover part of this portfolio on a day to day basis across 4-6 properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Revenue Strategy Development – Develop and execute dynamic pricing strategies that align with the company’s business goals, market demand, and competitive landscape across hotel and extended stay sectors. Working with the Regional Revenue Manager to define region-wide strategies and implement at property level.
  • Forecasting & Budgeting – Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly forecasts and outlooks for all revenue streams, analyzing past data, market trends, and business on the books to ensure targets are met.
  • Market Analysis – Conduct thorough market analysis to inform pricing and revenue strategies.
  • Rate Optimization – Implement rate management strategies, adjusting room pricing across multiple distribution channels, ensuring maximum visibility and competitiveness.
  • Inventory Management – Optimize room inventory to ensure the right balance between short-stay and extended-stay guests, focusing on maximizing revenue and occupancy levels.
  • Distribution Channel Management – Manage and optimize all distribution channels (OTAs, direct bookings, corporate agreements, and GDS), ensuring rate parity and channel efficiency.
  • Reporting & Analysis – Regularly provide in-depth revenue performance reports to senior management, outlining key insights, revenue forecasts, and market trends. Use key performance indicators (KPIs) such as GOP, ADR, RevPAR, and occupancy to guide decision-making.
  • Collaborative Leadership – Lead cross-functional teams to foster collaboration and drive revenue initiatives.

Who you are.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Experience working in a commercial team, ideally with revenue analysis experience.

Technical Expertise:

  • Strong proficiency with revenue management systems (RMS), property management systems (PMS), channel managers, and online distribution tools. Experience with systems such as Opera, Duetto, or IDeaS is highly desirable.

Analytical Skills:

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market insights to inform decision-making. Familiarity with KPIs such as RevPAR, ADR, GOPPAR, and occupancy rate.
  • Advanced Excel and strong numeracy and analytical skills.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data and insights effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience leading daily and weekly commercial meetings on forward-looking issues such as booking pace, performance analysis, and SMART action planning.
  • Demonstrable soft skills to include active listening to build trust, instill confidence, and empower others.

Languages:

  • Proficiency in English is required. Knowledge of additional European languages is a plus.
  • Ability to travel occasionally.
