The Senior Executive – Group Bookings will act as the subject matter expert for all group reservations activity across the portfolio. This role is responsible for overseeing the accurate fulfilment of group allocations, rooming lists and booking requirements while providing guidance and support to Reservations Executives. Working closely with Sales and Commercial teams, the role will ensure a seamless experience for group organisers while maximising revenue opportunities and maintaining operational excellence. This role is based five days a week at our London Bridge Head Office.

Managing the fulfilment of group bookings, ensuring rooming lists, booking allocations and contracted room blocks are processed accurately and delivered within agreed timelines.

Acting as the first point of escalation for Reservations Executives on group-related queries, providing guidance, support and expertise to maintain consistent service standards.

Partnering closely with Sales teams to ensure seamless handovers, timely communication and swift resolution of any issues affecting group organisers.

Monitoring group block performance, identifying at-risk allocations and escalating concerns where appropriate to protect revenue opportunities.

Applying group booking policies and allocation processes consistently while balancing organiser expectations with commercial objectives.

Identifying opportunities to improve workflows, streamline processes and enhance the overall organiser and guest experience.

Supporting the onboarding, training and development of team members, sharing knowledge and best practice across the department.

Contributing to the successful delivery of group revenue targets through effective booking management and conversion support.

Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all booking information is updated across relevant systems.

  • Sound commercial awareness combined with a guest-focused mindset.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and confidence handling complex booking scenarios and escalations.
  • Ability to remain calm, organised and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment.

YOUR PROVEN TRACK

  • Previous experience within hospitality, reservations or group bookings, ideally within a senior, lead or specialist position.
  • Strong understanding of group contracts, room allocations, booking systems and fulfilment processes.
  • Experience working with corporate, event or group business segments.
  • Proven ability to manage high volumes of bookings while maintaining exceptional levels of accuracy and service.
  • Experience collaborating with Sales, Revenue or Commercial teams to support business objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to support colleagues through coaching, training or mentoring activities.
