We’re searching for a Key Account Manager – TMC and Entertainment to join our team of free thinkers and collaborators in London or Bristol.

As a member of the Agency Sales Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping edyn’s transient (TMC) and specialist agency (Entertainment) segment sales strategy, achieving revenue targets across the UK, Ireland, and Europe. Supporting the Head of Agency Sales, you will collaborate on client activity, RFP strategy, marketing, and networking opportunities. Central to this role will be the ability to work across internal teams including sales, distribution, revenue, and operations, building strong partnerships and remaining outcome-focused.

You will manage a portfolio of key TMC and Entertainment clients delivering best-in-class Account Management, to grow edyn’s market share and achieve defined B2B revenue targets for your portfolio and new transient and specialist agencies. You will design and execute client activity plans, including review meetings, office visits, familiarisation trips, and property events.

Key responsibilities:

Managing existing agency clients

  • Relationship management for a portfolio of clients from a tactical perspective, for example, but not limited to, FAM trips, Client Presentations, responding to enquiries, queries, and complaints.
  • Achieving portfolio revenue targets.
  • Delivery and execution of client activity plans to ensure all relevant activity and initiatives are executed, in order to deliver revenue and optimise conversion, including:
  • Attending client review meetings to ensure client/edyn relationship is successfully maintained, with a commercial agenda and a MI information pack for each client review. Taking feedback, reporting, and actioning where necessary.
  • Owning and executing agreed activities within the TMC / Consortia sales activity calendar.
  • Timely completion of any RFPs and requests for rate agreements.
  • Overseeing responses to all enquiries for timeliness, accuracy, and optimal positioning of proposals and contracts.
  • Product training with all portfolio agency accounts (bookers, supplier relations personnel, senior leaders) as required.
  • Working with the Distribution team to ensure all relevant channels are continuously up to date with edyn property and promotional content.
  • Reviewing trading conditions regularly with Revenue team and agree promotional activities for assigned portfolio.
  • Delivering regular updates on sales activity.
  • Attending trade shows, conferences, and networking events as required.
  • Working cross-functionally to ensure all key departments are involved and updated as required.

Planning, seeking, and winning new business

  • Working closely with the local and central corporate sales teams in conducting research and prospecting to uncover potential new target corporate clients/opportunities from the agency portfolio.
  • Internal and External (Agency 360) data gathering and segment-specific campaign planning.
  • Generating, qualifying, and following up on leads from assigned Agency accounts through all relevant channels/portals.
  • Campaign analysis and ongoing data management via CRM.
  • Managing sales activity to ensure continuous seeking and winning of new business and maintaining existing Agency clients for all edyn properties.
  • Using existing databases and new lead sources to identify new Agency prospect accounts and liaising with decision makers.
  • Recommending and attending specific exhibitions, business events, and conferences as relevant.
  • Attending FAM trips, sales presentations, networking events.
  • Planning, owning, supporting, and ensuring the execution of B2B marketing activities for assigned accounts.

Internal systems

Ensuring that all internal processes are completed to ensure that each account is correctly set up within edyn, to include:

  • Working closely with reservations and revenue teams.
  • Advising accounts/finance team.
  • Comprehensive, accurate, and timely use of CRM tool.
  • Ensuring that internal databases are kept up-to-date with accurate and relevant information held on records.
  • Producing sales activity and production reports on a monthly basis or as required.
  • Competent use of software packages such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel to support sales presentations and reporting.

Self-development

  • Maintaining excellent knowledge of Company network and key locations and know how to easily access information regarding any location.
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge and understanding of the assigned agency sectors and the hospitality and serviced apartment sectors.
  • Competent navigation and use of available software packages.
  • Commit to and embrace additional training as required by the company.

Key experience:

  • Solid previous agency sales and account management experience in hospitality or corporate accommodation in the UK and Continental Europe and a strong network.
  • 3 years experience in a similar role.

Our core business hours are 9am – 5.30pm, 5 days per week.
