Duties:
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards
- Oversee and assist kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking
- Ensure proper portion control and presentation of dishes
- Monitor food quality and taste for consistency
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with the chef to develop new menu items
- Train new kitchen staff members
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar setting
