Your role
As a PDM Technician SAP SME, your mission is to role provide SAP subject matter expertise for the creation and maintenance of product data, including Bills of Materials (BOMs) for full systems, buildable assemblies and spares.
The role requires strong knowledge of routings, documentation, and assembly structures, and takes the lead in investigating cross-functional data issues, identifying root causes and presenting practical solutions.
You will report to the PDM Team Lead.

- Be the PDM SAP SME (Subject Matter Expert) looking to resolve internal and external team queries.
- Develops, implements and continuously improves PDM standards and procedures
- Come up with and support local SAP Process Improvements
- Liase with the Atlas Copco Global SAP Team in support of finding solutions to complex SAP queries/projects.
- Train and introduce SAP to new starters in the Engineering functions.
- Creation maintenance, and conversion of Bills of Materials.
- Work closely with a variety of departments to ensure the rules for structuring BOMs for a product are understood, recorded, and revision controlled.
