Main Responsibilities
- Complete a series of structured placements across mechanical engineering functions over a one year placement programme.
- Support the design, development, testing, and continuous improvement of mechanical systems used within semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
- Contribute to live engineering projects, applying engineering principles to solve technical and operational challenges.
- Produce and maintain drawings, bills of materials, and associated engineering documentation. Creat accurate 3D parts and assemblies in CAD, applying correct constraints and ensuring designs are ready for manufacture.
- Assist with system integration, verification, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
To succeed, you will need
- You are currently studying towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline and are undertaking an industrial placement as part of your course.
- You demonstrate strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, a willingness to learn, and an enthusiasm for applying engineering theory in a practical environment.
