The mission and purpose of the Field Service Engineer is to provide best in class technical support to customers for semiconductor products to ensure system and product safety, uptime, and availability in support for our customers productivity to improve their satisfaction.

You will:

  • Independently conduct key operational activities, such as installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Edwards products
  • Work with Edwards processes and operating platforms to accurately capture service-related information as determined by the scope of responsibility for creation of field service notifications and orders, through to the completion of work orders
  • Undertake software setup, operation, maintenance, and basic analytics. Conduct basic fault-finding and troubleshooting support to resolve or escalate issues within the agreed contractual timeframes and our Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to meet customer expectations.

To succeed, you will need:

  • Education: University or formal qualification in mechanical, electromechanical, or electronics.
  • Previous relevant field service experience, ideally customer facing.
  • Strong customer focus to meet expectations and deadlines, aligned with Edwards’s strategies.
  • Self-directed, able to solve problems and escalate when needed.
  • Share technical knowledge and coach less experienced team members.
  • Comply with laws, policies, and standards to meet safety and health obligations.
