Mission / Purpose of the Job

Lead the EMS product supply planning framework while supporting the SCM Manager to maximize overall supply chain performance and outcomes. Establish scalable governance, KPI management systems, and operating models across Product Companies (PCs) and Distribution Centers (DCs). Ensure standardized service planning processes and adherence to policies across regions, proactively lead supply deviation management, monitor performance through defined KPIs, drive continuous improvement, and raise supply risks, performance gaps, or cross‑functional conflicts to senior management.

Main Responsibilities

  • EMS Product‑Specific Supply Planning
    • Translate the SCM Manager’s strategic direction into actionable supply planning.
    • Own end‑to‑end supply planning for the EMS product portfolio across the global service network.
    • Align demand and supply plans with Product Companies (PCs), EMS partners, and regional stakeholders.
    • Provide data‑driven analysis and insights to support Leadership Team’s decision making.
  • PC & DC Performance Management (KPI Ownership)
    • Establish and own KPI framework across Product Companies (PCs) and Distribution Centers (DCs).
    • Monitor and analyze key KPIs (service level, material availability, inventory turns, E&O, lead time).
    • Drive performance reviews with PCs and DCs, identifying gaps and leading corrective actions.
    • Ensure performance transparency through reporting and dashboard (e.g., Power BI).
  • Inventory Planning & Optimization
    • Drive inventory sizing, positioning, and rebalancing across STCs and Service DCs.
    • Coordinate closely with PCs to align inventory plans with service business requirements.
    • Optimize global inventory to meet availability targets while controlling working capital.
  • Supply Deviation Management
    • Proactively lead supply deviation management, including supply risks, shortage and allocation.
    • Lead cross‑functional issue resolution with PCs, logistics, and service teams.
    • Ensure timely communication of supply disruptions and business impact to key stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement & Transformation
    • Partner with Global BPI and digital teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Define requirements to enhance supply planning processes and systems.
    • Support transformation projects including DC setup, planning standardization, and digitalization.
  • Engineering Change & Lifecycle Management
    • Assess supply chain and logistics impact from engineering changes (e.g., SIB, PIB, EC, OFM).
    • Ensure controlled execution with minimal disruption to service operations.
  • Freight & Cost Optimization
    • Review and optimize transportation modes and logistics.
    • Drive cost‑efficiency initiatives while maintaining service performance.
  • Leadership & Stakeholder Management
    • Act as global focal point for EMS product supply planning.
    • Influence cross‑functional stakeholders across regions and organizations.
    • Lead, coach, and develop supply planning team to achieve sustainable performance.

Knowledge and Experience

  • +7 years’ experience in commercial supply chain managerial career.
  • Project management experience in planning / distribution function.
  • Demonstrable experience in strategic involvement where individual judgement directly bears on company performance.
  • Excellent communication, time management and administration skills.
  • Evidence of an analytical approach using qualitative and quantitative tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of service logistics or manufacturing company an advantage.
  • In‑depth understanding of the Atlas Copco Supply Chain processes, from forecasting and order management through to factory planning and vendor material planning.
  • Highly motivated and able to influence all levels of management in international territories.

Skills

  • Fluency in written / verbal English essential.
  • SAP ECC / APO / PAB / CRM (user or SME experience preferred).
  • Power BI developer level preferred.
  • MS Office.
  • CPIM & CSCP.
