Your role

The Vice President, Sales Excellence is responsible for driving the effectiveness, efficiency, and scalability of the regional and global sales organisations.

This role designs and implements best-in-class sales processes, tools, capabilities, and performance management systems to accelerate sustainable, profitable growth and enhance customer engagement across all product lines within SUN and VSC.

The position partners closely with all BU’s across Semi ( SUN ) and Chamber Solutions ( VSC ) with collaboration across CC Sales, Divisional Marketing, Product Management , and other functions to ensure a data-driven, disciplined, and customer-centric approach to sales execution and business success.

  • Main Responsibilities
  • Sales Strategy & Growth
  • Develop and execute a global sales excellence strategy aligned with business growth objectives.
  • Drive standardised sales processes, account management, value-based pricing, and commercial best practices.
  • Support strategic customer opportunities, major bids, and key account negotiations.
  • Sales Operations & Performance
  • Lead CRM strategy, sales analytics, reporting, and performance management to improve sales effectiveness.
  • Standardise sales processes and governance across regions and business units.
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales teams to drive lead generation, account prioritisation, and cross-selling growth.
  • Sales Enablement
  • Design and deliver global sales training programmes covering technical expertise, value selling, negotiation, and commercial excellence.
  • Develop onboarding programmes, sales tools, and coaching initiatives to build capability and performance.
  • Leadership
  • Lead a global Sales Excellence team spanning strategy, operations, and enablement.
  • Drive organisational change, continuous improvement, and a high-performance, customer-focused culture across the business.
  • Must-Have Qualifications
  • Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred), with 15+ years' post-graduate experience.
  • 10+ years' commercial leadership experience within the semiconductor industry, including semiconductor and DSLP markets.
  • Strong knowledge of vacuum pumps, abatement technologies, controls, and software solutions.
  • Proven success in value-based selling, negotiation, business growth, and leading large, multi-layered teams.
  • Demonstrated experience driving organisational change and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong commercial, technical, and financial acumen.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent English essential; Chinese, Korean, or Japanese language skills are advantageous.

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our GTC office in Burgess Hill, UK.

As the role is global in scope it requires occasional travel for 10% of the position; including overnight or multiple days.
