Your role as a HR Business Partner - Global Business Partnering Functions is to provide operational and advisory People & Culture support to employees, managers and leaders across the Global Business Partnering Functions. The role helps ensure a consistent, high-quality employee experience across a global and matrixed organisation, supporting the effective delivery of HR processes, employee relations, talent activities, organisational development initiatives and people-related projects. You will:

  • Provide operational and advisory HR support to employees, managers and leaders across the employee lifecycle, ensuring consistent application of policies, processes and ways of working.
  • Manage and support complex employee relations casework, including disciplinary, grievance and performance matters, in partnership with local HR managers and teams.
  • Partner closely with local HR managers, VTBA Centres of Excellence and global stakeholders to ensure aligned, timely and effective People & Culture support across the functions.
  • Contribute to strong hire-to-retire processes, identifying opportunities to improve the quality, efficiency and consistency of HR service delivery.
  • Support People & Culture initiatives, including the design, facilitation or sourcing of learning and talent development solutions in partnership with the VTBA Talent, Learning and Development partner.
  • Manage and coordinate a portfolio of People & Culture projects and activities across GBPF, ensuring clear priorities, effective delivery, stakeholder alignment and timely follow-through.
  • Establish and maintain structured ways of working, including meeting preparation, action tracking, follow-up and clear documentation of decisions.
  • Support talent management, organisational development, global mobility and the adoption of HR systems, tools and processes across GBPF.
  • Liaise with senior leaders, including VP and VP-1 stakeholders, as well as a global network of leaders and HR managers, to support people priorities and ensure effective delivery.
  • Contribute to Group and VTBA strategic initiatives such as Job Architecture and Talent Connected.

To succeed, you will need:

  • A Degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Business Psychology, Human Resources or a related field.
  • Experience in HR, ideally in a generalist, HR operations or HR Business Partner support role within an international or matrixed environment.
  • Sound understanding of employee lifecycle processes, employee relations, HR service delivery and core people practices.
  • Confidence working with HR systems, tools and data, with experience using SuccessFactors, Power BI or similar platforms desirable.
  • Enterprise mindset with the ability to collaborate across teams, identify synergies and support consistent approaches across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a structured, reliable approach to managing priorities and follow-through.
  • Clear communication skills, sound judgement and the ability to build credibility and influence with diverse teams, managers and senior stakeholders.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented and curious, with a willingness to keep learning and contribute to continuous improvement.
