Your role As a Senior Mechanical Engineer (V&V), your mission is to provide senior mechanical engineering verification and validation expertise for new and existing products, ensuring performance, safety, reliability, and compliance with applicable standards, internal specifications, and customer requirements.

You will report to the Lead Mechanical Engineer.

You will Develop and deliver mechanical verification and validation strategies for new and existing products ensuring alignment with product requirements, applicable standards, internal specifications, and customer expectations..

Apply sound engineering judgement to select appropriate verification methods, balancing analysis, inspection, calculation, simulation, and physical testing to demonstrate product performance, safety, reliability, and compliance.

Plan, coordinate, and assess analysis, inspection, calculation, simulation, and physical testing to demonstrate product performance, safety, reliability, and compliance.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering, manufacturing, quality, service, and compliance teams to ensure requirements are understood, risks are managed, and product conformity is achieved throughout the product lifecycle.

Support delivery across the full product lifecycle, from requirements definition and design review through analysis, test execution, FAT, field validation, evidence review, and technical acceptance.

Generate, structure, review, and maintain verification evidence, Technical Construction Files, and associated compliance documentation to demonstrate conformity with safety, regulatory, and customer requirements.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or demonstrable equivalent experience.

Master’s degree, professional engineering registration, or commitment to achieving registration would be beneficial.

Experience across the product lifecycle, ideally within a V-model or similar process, from requirements definition through verification, validation, testing, and acceptance.

Experience in a regulated engineering environment, ideally semiconductor, chemical process, or similar industries with knowledge of product safety, regulatory compliance, and standards such as EN ISO 12100, EN ISO 13849-1, SEMI S2, SEMI S6, and SEMI S8.

Experience developing or reviewing Technical Construction Files, compliance documentation, design assurance evidence, risk assessments, HAZOPs, safety reviews, and design reviews.

Sound technical judgement, including the ability to balance analytical methods with physical testing.

Structured approach to documentation, evidence, configuration control, and record keeping.

Proactive, solution-focused mindset with the ability to make decisions in production or customer-critical situations.
