Your role as a Project Manager involves ensuring any deviance is mitigated by immediate intervention or escalated to the Programme Manager.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A good engineering or scientific degree.
- Project management qualification desirable (preferably Prince2, APM certified, or equivalent).
- 5 years involvement in the process of product development in a high‑technology environment, with 3 years’ experience in a Project Management capacity.
- A proven ability to manage complex projects—strong understanding of delivering products on time, to specification and on budget.
- A proven ability to generate resource plans and drive schedule adherence while maintaining the flexibility required to react to rapidly changing customer and company needs.
- Must be a good communicator and have excellent fluency in spoken and written English.
- Strong communication skills, organisational awareness, and impact.
- Influencing, communication, presentation and negotiating skills, both internally and externally.
- Ability to make things happen at all levels by seeing the need to communicate, elevate and facilitate.
