Technical Assistant

The position of Technical Assistant is both a factory and office-based role, working within an established team. The purpose of this role is to ensure the highest level of technical compliance is adhered to, across the business, through factory processes and due diligence procedures, as demanded by the Company, its customers, and associated accreditations; assisted by the technical department, management, and wider team. THE ROLE: Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: Provide technical support to suppliers, customers, and the site production and commercial teams. Manage customer complaints and non-conformances through instigating root cause, ensuring suitable corrective and preventative actions and communication to customers, internally and externally. Conduct and document traceability tests, as required. Maintain and update accurate product and raw material technical specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Assist with maintaining the quality management system and regulatory bodies. Support site audits Conduct internal audits against site and industry standards, raising non-compliance internally, as required.
