Are you looking for a challenging opportunity in management accounting? This role will look after the day to day running of the finance function in a specialist sector of research, development and manufacture in west Hull.

THE BENEFITS: £45,000 - £47,000 plus benefits including free on-site parking, subsidised gym membership and potential options for hybrid working.

THE ROLE: Reporting into the Group head office, the Management Accountant will undertake a range of daily duties and responsibilities expected of an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant. Duties will include preparation of the monthly management accounts, cashflow forecasting, month end duties, P & L, budgets, variance analysis, accruals and prepayments, preparation of VAT returns and supervise an accounts assistant.

THE CANDIDATE: You will be an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant, although candidates at finalist stage with the relevant skills and experience will also be considered. A high standard of systems literacy is required and previous experience of working with ERP systems will be highly beneficial. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal. The ability to liaise effectively right across a business is important in order to provide the information required for a successful decision-making process, often to deadline. You have enthusiasm and a passion for attention to detail and would enjoy working as part of a thriving team with this highly innovative and successful company.
