THE BENEFITS: Β£30,000 - Β£35,000 plus 2 hybrid working days per week, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, your birthday off and a day off for charity volunteering, retail discount vouchers, cycle to work scheme, enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption pay.
THE ROLE: You will be involved in the preparation of management accounts with commentary and variances, prepayments and accruals, preparation of the required financial information, maintain the fixed asset register, month end journals, VAT returns, year end reconciliations and liaise with the auditors. These duties form just a part of this full and varied role as part of a small, busy and friendly team.
THE CANDIDATE: You already have experience in preparing or assisting in the preparation of the management accounts combined with a range of broad based accounting skills. Systems literate, especially with Excel, you are adaptable, have excellent communication skills both written and verbal and have the ability to work with accuracy. A collaborative approach with sound interpersonal skills is essential as is a positive attitude.
THE COMPANY: My client is based in the historic old town in Hull with medieval winding streets in an area that looks straight out of a Harry Potter film and surrounded by cool little cafes, vibrant pubs, arts and culture.
